Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for LearnTurkish AI ("the App") subscriptions and purchases. We are committed to fair and transparent refund practices in compliance with European Union consumer protection laws and the policies of our distribution platforms.

Quick Summary: Refund procedures depend on where you purchased your subscription. Please find the section that applies to you below.

1. Subscription Plans and Pricing

LearnTurkish AI offers two premium subscription plans:

Local prices may vary based on your country and currency. All subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

2. EU Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, customers in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, with the following exception:

Important: Pursuant to Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does NOT apply to digital content delivered immediately upon purchase, where you have given express consent to immediate access AND acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is lost. By purchasing a Premium subscription, you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge the loss of the 14-day withdrawal right.

Despite this exception, we voluntarily offer a refund procedure (described below) for customers who experience technical issues, accidental purchases, or are not satisfied with the service.

3. Refunds for App Store Purchases (iOS)

If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store, refunds are processed directly by Apple. We do not have direct access to App Store transactions.

How to Request an App Store Refund:

  1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find the "LearnTurkish AI" purchase
  4. Tap "Report a Problem" and select the appropriate reason
  5. Submit your request

Apple typically reviews refund requests within 24-48 hours. Apple's refund decision is final and based on Apple's terms of service.

Alternatively, you can request a refund through your iOS device:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History
  3. Find the subscription and tap "Report a Problem"

4. Refunds for Google Play Purchases (Android)

If you purchased your subscription through Google Play, refunds are processed by Google for purchases within 48 hours.

How to Request a Google Play Refund:

  1. Open the Google Play website or app
  2. Go to Account → Order History
  3. Find "LearnTurkish AI" and tap "Request a refund"
  4. Select the reason and submit

For purchases older than 48 hours, contact us directly at kilinc.metin266@gmail.com and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis.

5. Refunds for Web Purchases (Paddle)

If you purchased your subscription via our website (processed by Paddle.com), you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us directly:

  1. Email kilinc.metin266@gmail.com with the subject "Refund Request"
  2. Include your order number, purchase email, and reason for refund
  3. We will process eligible refunds within 5 business days
  4. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

6. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation stops future renewals — you keep access until the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for unused time.

Refund reverses a payment and immediately revokes premium access.

How to Cancel Your Subscription:

iOS (App Store):

  1. Open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
  2. Tap "LearnTurkish AI"
  3. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Android (Google Play):

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  3. Select "LearnTurkish AI" and tap "Cancel subscription"

Web (Paddle): Email us at kilinc.metin266@gmail.com and we will cancel your subscription within 24 hours.

7. When We Issue Discretionary Refunds

For purchases made directly through our website (Paddle), we may issue refunds in the following circumstances:

Please note: For App Store and Google Play purchases, refund decisions are made solely by Apple and Google, respectively, based on their own policies.

9. Free Trial

If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged. After the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew at the standard price unless cancelled.

10. Price Changes

If we change subscription prices, existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Price changes take effect at the next renewal. You can cancel before the renewal date to avoid the new price.
